Entries for the 2024 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards are now officially open! Celebrating its fifth year, this prestigious competition recognises and rewards the most innovative and inspiring designs that prominently feature LYSAGHT® steel building products.
Winners of each category will receive a cash prize, while the grand prize for most outstanding overall entry includes a trip for two to Singapore to attend the World Architecture Festival.
Whether you are an architect, designer, or student, this is your opportunity to gain national recognition, showcase your creativity, and win fantastic prizes.
Award Categories and Prizes
The 2024 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards include the following categories:
- Residential Design: Celebrating excellence in residential architecture. Winner receives a $5,000 cash prize.
- Commercial and Industrial Design: Recognising outstanding designs in commercial and industrial buildings. Winner receives a $5,000 cash prize.
- Regional Design: Showcasing innovative designs that reflect regional characteristics and requirements. Winner receives a $5,000 cash prize.
- Celebrating ZENITH®: Highlighting projects that prominently feature the ZENITH® range of architectural cladding products. Winner receives a $5,000 cash prize.
- Student Category: Open to current and recent (within two years) architecture and design students. Entrants receive a brief and submit a conceptual project. Winner receives a $2,500 cash prize.
- People’s Choice Award: Entries across all categories will be considered for shortlisting, then the general public will vote for their favourite. Winner receives a $2,500 cash prize.
A judging panel of industry experts will assess the entries in each category (except People’s Choice) to determine winners. The 2024 Lysaght Inspirations Design Award will be presented to the category winner deemed the finest example of design featuring LYSAGHT® steel building products.
This grand prize includes a trip for two to Singapore to attend the World Architecture Festival in November 2024, providing an unparalleled opportunity for professional development and networking.
Entry Requirements
To participate in the Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards, entrants must adhere to the following requirements:
- Eligibility: Open to practicing architects, building designers, and students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an architectural or design program at an Australian university or college.
- Design Criteria: Projects must prominently feature LYSAGHT® steel building products.
- Entry Period: Submissions are open from 1st July 2024 and will close on 2nd September 2024.
- Submission Process: All entries must be submitted via the official Awards website at www.lysaghtinspirations.com.
