Cherie Barber

Building a Modern Farmhouse Lifestyle

The Farmhouse is a new renovation and lifestyle series that follows renovation expert Cherie Barber as she undertakes one of the most ambitious projects of her career: transforming a tired rural property in Western Sydney into a contemporary modern farmhouse. More than a renovation show, the series explores a complete lifestyle change as Cherie leaves behind the pace of suburban living in search of a more sustainable, connected way of life.

Throughout the series, viewers follow the real-life renovation journey, from major structural works and design decisions through to the final finishes and styling. Rather than focusing solely on the end result, The Farmhouse captures the realities of a large-scale build, including the challenges, setbacks, budget considerations and problem-solving required to bring the vision to life.
