Technical expertise for local impact
As a Technical Member, Lysaght will:
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to support high-quality, responsive regional building design
- Collaborate with RAA members on initiatives that raise design standards across commercial, residential, and government projects
- Contribute to advocacy efforts that promote the role and benefits of architecture within regional communities
- Support professional development through events, resources, and technical engagement
This collaboration means giving practitioners practical support and delivering better built outcomes for the regions. It extends beyond the products Lysaght supplies to the conversations we join and the projects we help shape.
Sustainability and regional resilience
Regional projects face conditions ranging from high UV exposure and cyclonic winds to heavy rainfall and coastal corrosion. LYSAGHT® products, made from COLORBOND® steel and ZINCALUME® steel, are tested to meet Australian Standards for structural performance and corrosion resistance, ensuring they withstand these environments.
Our Australian steel products are made using 100% recyclable steel, with processes that support reduced greenhouse gas emissions and responsible material sourcing. For architects and builders, this means proven performance in harsh climates and the confidence that specifications meet both durability and sustainability requirements.
