The 2025 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards have recognised outstanding projects across Australia, from landmark cultural centres to finely crafted homes. This year’s winners showcase excellence in residential,commercial, sustainable, regional and student design.

The 2025 Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards celebrated the best of Australian architecture, with entries spanning the country and the full spectrum of design, from finely detailed residential extensions to cultural landmarks of national importance. Each submission reflected not only technical excellence but also a strong sense of how architecture can shape communities and experiences. 

Reflecting on the strength of the field this year, the judging panel commented: 

“The 2025 entries set a new benchmark for the awards. We saw projects that pushed boundaries, but also those that grounded innovation in place, sustainability and cultural meaning. This collection of winners demonstrates just how diverse and inspiring Australian architecture has become.”
