A recently-completed prep and year one school building in the Brisbane suburb of Goodna, has won the commercial and industrial category of the 2020 ‘Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards’ (LIDA).

The Regional winner of Lysaghts’ Inspirations Design Awards (LIDA) was thrown significant design challenges on the way to successfully obtaining this accolade with its ‘Mercy College Mackay Library’ development.

Lysaght’s Inspirations Design Awards have shed light on some of our country’s best up and coming architects and designers, with judges having to sift through dozens of high quality entrants, before announcing Sandra Clarke as the Student Design Winner.

Desert Rose, a house that includes materials donated by Lysaght, has taken out second place in the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018, a competition that challenges students from around the world to design and construct solar powered houses that are sustainable, stylish and cost effective.

The creativity and vision of Australia’s leading architects and designers has again come to the fore in this year’s prestigious Lysaght Inspirations Design Awards, an initiative that recognises outstanding Australian architectural work incorporating LYSAGHT® steel building products.
