For most, attaining home ownership is a long-term goal that will take plenty of hard work and sacrifice – for people with intellectual disabilities, the challenge is even greater.

THE PROJECT Located in Canberra’s inner south, the suburb of Kingston is highlighted by its close proximity to the Jerrabomberra Wetlands Nature Reserve and is also a stone’s through from Parliament House.

Designed by architect Rudi Krastins and built in the 1960s, Constable House is located in the Canberra suburb of Red Hill.
